Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you and Labbis (“Labbis”, “we”, “us”) and govern your use of the Labbis apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, the web game at play.labbis.app, and the website labbis.app (together, the “Service”). By downloading, installing, accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use. You may not use the Service if you have previously been banned from it, or where using it would break the law that applies to you.
2. Your account
You can play as a guest or create an account. You agree to give accurate information, to keep your password and device secure, and that you are responsible for everything that happens under your account or guest profile. Accounts are personal: you may not sell, transfer or share yours. We may change or reclaim a nickname that breaks these Terms. Guest progress is tied to your device and may be lost if you delete the app or change device, and Labbis is not responsible for that loss.
3. Your licence to use Labbis
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to download and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Labbis. This licence ends automatically if you break these Terms.
4. Rules of conduct
When using the Service you agree not to: • post nicknames, answers or reactions that are offensive, obscene, sexual, violent, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, or that insult any religion, nationality or group, or that offend public morals; • harass, threaten, bully or impersonate any person, or share anyone’s personal information; • cheat, use bots, scripts or modified clients, exploit bugs, or manipulate matches, scores, rewards or rankings; • copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or scrape the Service, or interfere with its servers, security or other players’ use of it; • sell, buy or trade accounts, coins or items, or use the Service for advertising or any commercial purpose without our written permission; • use the Service in any way that breaks the law. If you find a bug, please report it to support@labbis.app instead of using it.
5. Your content
“Player Content” means the nicknames, trick answers, votes, reactions and anything else you submit through the Service. You are solely responsible for your Player Content. You keep any rights you have in it, but you grant Labbis a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable and sublicensable licence to use, copy, store, display, adapt, translate and distribute it in connection with operating, improving and promoting the Service. We do not review all content before it appears, but we may remove or block any Player Content at any time, for any reason, without notice.
6. Coins, rewards and virtual items
Coins, XP, levels, characters and other virtual items (“Virtual Items”) are part of the game. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money or anything of value, and cannot be sold, transferred or traded. You receive a limited licence to use them within the Service; you do not own them. We may change, rebalance, limit or remove Virtual Items, or reset progress, at any time, without liability to you. If paid purchases are ever offered, they will be processed by Apple or Google under their terms and refund policies, and are final except where the law requires otherwise.
7. Moderation, suspension and termination
We may, at our sole discretion and with or without notice, warn you, remove your content, limit features, suspend or permanently ban your account or device, or reset your progress, if we believe you have broken these Terms, harmed other players, or put the Service at risk. You will not be entitled to any compensation or refund for lost progress, Virtual Items or access. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete my data in the app.
8. Changes to the Service
The Service is continually developed. We may add, change, suspend or remove any feature, content, question, mode or the whole Service, temporarily or permanently, at any time and without liability. The Service needs an internet connection, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. Some updates may be required to keep playing.
9. Intellectual property
The Service and everything in it, including the Labbis name and logo, characters, artwork, questions, text, sounds, design and software, is owned by Labbis or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create works based on any of it without our prior written permission. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely and without any obligation to you.
10. App stores and third-party services
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that store’s terms. These Terms are between you and Labbis only, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the Service, its content, maintenance or support, or for any claim relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Sign-in with Apple or Google, and any other third-party service linked from the Service, is subject to that provider’s own terms, for which Labbis is not responsible.
11. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, for entertainment only. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Labbis disclaims all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. Trivia questions, answers and explanations are provided for fun; we do not guarantee that they are complete or accurate. We are not responsible for the conduct or content of other players.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Labbis and its owners, team members and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, Virtual Items, profits or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim, or, if greater, the minimum amount that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Labbis and its owners, team members and partners from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Player Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any law.
14. Governing law and disputes
Labbis serves players across the Arab world, so these Terms are written to work wherever you live. If you have a problem with the Service, you agree to first contact us at support@labbis.app and to try in good faith to resolve it with us for at least 60 days before starting any formal claim. If it cannot be resolved, the dispute will be decided by the competent courts and under the law determined by the mandatory rules of the jurisdiction that applies. Nothing in these Terms removes any right or protection that the law of your country of residence gives you and that cannot be waived by agreement; if any part of these Terms conflicts with such a mandatory rule or with public order where you live, that part applies only to the extent permitted, and the rest remains in force.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows the current version, and where a change is significant we will give notice in the app or on the website. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
16. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Labbis about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours, including in connection with a sale or transfer of the Service. These Terms are published in Arabic and English; if the two versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
